LIVING TORAH 2 TINYANA

LIVING TORAH 2 TINYANA

I General Practices

1. Saying the prayer about this Torah from “Likutei Tefilos”.

2. Doing hisbodedus on this Torah, asking Hashem to help us

understand it properly and apply it to our lives as much as we can.

II Special Practices Related to this Torah

1. Feeling and expressing gratitude to Hashem, as well as maintaining

a positive attitude throughout the day.

It might be helpful to say the following declaration every morning, "Today, I'm

going to focus on being grateful to Hashem and seeing the positive in

everything."

Also, it's good to choose one point and to concentrate on being grateful for it

throughout the day. For example, "I'm so fortunate to be part of Breslov and to

have such a great Rebbe!"

2. Saying Chapter 100 of Tehillim ("Mizmor LeSodah").

3. Learning Halacha:

a) choosing a book on practical Halacha and learning it in order;

b) studying works that help strengthen our Yiras Shamayim and

mitzvah performance, such as “Likutei Halochos”.

4. Supporting those who learn Torah while believing that Hashem will surely

replenish whatever we have given.

5. Giving tzedakah to overcome our innate cruelty and to become

truly human.

6.Feeling relaxed and happy on Shabbos; taking pleasure in the special

mitzvos of the day, such as Shabbos davening and eating the three Shabbos

meals.

7. Drawing the simcha of Shabbos into the six days of the week:

performing weekday mitzvos happily and willingly.

8. Remaining true to the Simple Oneness of Hashem in the face of the workweek

challenges by always conducting ourselves according to Halacha and with

   emuna.

9. Learning to see all the different phenomena of the world in general and all

the events in our lives in particular as coming from One Source - Hashem. This

should help us stay positive because whatever happens surely comes from

Hashem Who only wants what is really good for us.

10. Feeling unity with other observant Jews: what unites us is much more important

 than what makes us different.
